Background
Dr. Lena Bortnem's journey to becoming an orthodontic specialist is marked by exceptional achievements and a heartfelt dedication to her patients. She was not born in Texas but jokes that she “got here as fast as she could” and is proud to call Fort Worth her home.
Her passion for orthodontics is driven by the belief that a beautiful, healthy smile is the key to happiness, success, and fulfillment.

Outside of creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Lena enjoys staying active, exploring new places with her family, and relaxing with a Netflix series alongside Dr. Eric.
Dr. Lena's spirit of adventure and dedication to giving back enriches not only her patients' lives but also those around her. Here’s something interesting — Dr. Lena played volleyball in college as an outside hitter!

Dr. Lena Bortnem is passionate about giving back and has stayed involved in numerous charities and organizations throughout the years.
From local youth-led outreaches to senior citizens, homeless, military, and low-income populations to abroad in Nicaragua and Jamaica providing dental services for underserved populations, Dr. Lena truly finds joy in helping others.
